"I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work."

When browsing through my professional experience, you might notice that it’s not the “average” or “typical” college student experience. During my time at Auburn, I have held multiple positions that have required different things of me. But, one thing the majority of them have in common is that they required me to step up. Step up as a leader, a volunteer, a mentor and a director. I believe that because I was required to do these things, I have gained more hands-on experience than I would’ve elsewhere. And as a kinesthetic learner, I find that valuable. This has taught me how to take what I have learned in the classroom and apply it to a real-world situation. I’ve learned to stop and think about the public relations process before acting, making it a habit. I am fortunate to have had bosses and supervisors that believed in me, and trusted me enough to give me these responsibilities. Without them, I would not be half the professional I am today.
